On Indelibly You ... the sound can be both driving and introspective, from the energy blast of "Alone Again" to the serene lyricism of "She Walks In." The album is cohesive, but also diverse. The title track has a New Orleans second line groove, and "On to Guadalupe" takes a turn towards latin-jazz, featuring Cougar Estrada. "Natalie" is a melodic, gypsy-inflected tune, featuring guest violinist Gilles Apap.
